Just be love! Nothing else, just love.....

We’ll talk about prayer, about love. Unity is God. We always come to the same point, where we talk about God. We talk about His love for all of us – this love that He has without condition. We start our spiritual way because there is something missing in our life, something that this world can’t give. This thing which is missing, you can only discover inside of you. Yet there is a saying – approach Him with love, reach Him in that love, meet Him in love, embrace Him with love and merge with Him and become Eternal Love! I find it so beautiful.So we start our journey to approach the Divine. Our first step is searching for Him. This is when in our life we feel the need to pray. Prayer is this essence of realising that there is something greater – whether you call it God, Light, Spirit… The search starts with prayer, and prayer makes the link, prayer makes the first step to this union. Then one will reach the next step by meeting and reaching that love. By prayer the heart opens up, firstly towards the outside, then towards the inside. We meet Him in love. Through the reciting and singing of God’s names, like you are doing, you reach the point where love is, where everybody is sharing one goal: the achievement of that love. Then there comes the point of meeting Him in love. This is happening in meditation, when you sit down and have the connection with your true Self. You meet the love within yourself and start this discussion, start this communication with the Self, about knowing who you really are. In this meeting we embrace that love, we become one with it and realise it more and more.
You grow more and more each day. And with this Divine love you will realise that there is no difference between the love that you knew at the beginning and now. And with this love there is no difference between you, me – anybody. But this Eternal Love, this Eternal Light resides in everything. It’s so easy, isn’t it?

Love is the only thing that binds the Lord.....

When we look at the life of Krishna, what was binding Him? He was always free, ever free. He was born free. The only thing that binds Him, that limits him, is the Love of His devotees. There was a Swami from Vrindavan last week in the ashram in Germany. He told this beautiful story, which is, also, in the Srimad Bhagavatam, of when Krishna was small. You know He was very naughty, always breaking all the makan and butter pots, trying to annoy everybody, because He wanted all the attention to be on Him, only, and on nothing else. One day Yashoda had Him on her lap and she had some milk on the fire. Then the milk started to boil and to spill in the fire. This Swami was explaining how great was this milk. It was crying, because even when the Lord was so near to it, it couldn’t come to Him. Seeing the milk boiling, Yashoda put Krishna down and rushed to remove the milk. There are many great yogis who try to attain the Lord through meditation and penance, but they cannot. And there He was playing on the lap of Yashoda, but yet she let Herself be distracted to the outside, forgetting about the Lord. So He went and broke the pots of buttermilk and gave the butter to the monkeys, starting to feed them. When Yashoda came and saw the broken pots and monkeys all around, she knew that it was Krishna. Then she started to look for Krishna and to run after Him everywhere. Of course, Krishna with His little, little legs started, also, to run around and she couldn’t catch Him. Then, finally, He let Himself be caught by Yashoda. So she tried to tie Krishna with a rope, but every time She tried to tie Him, the rope was short by two inches. Then she would go and get some more rope, but again it was short. And she tried again, but again it was short. Finally, Yashoda became really, really tired. Then Krishna was looking at how much Love she had at that moment, He thought “OK, I succeeded in getting Her attention fully on me.” So He let Himself be tied. So Love is the only thing that binds the Lord. When we talk about love, about finding this love inside of us, it’s actually to find His Love inside of us, to catch Him completely and when we catch Him, then we can say “Yes, I have Him.” Actually, all the Masters from all religions–not only Hinduism–Mohammed, Jesus, Krishna, all have come just to teach mankind to attain this Universal Love, to attain this Unconditional Love, because this is your true nature. Apart from that, there is nothing. All that you have you will leave here. You took it from here; you will leave it here. Once you have attained this Love, just give, because you will have become an instrument of the Divine Love, and let it flow always.

Love is a word which has thousands of names because everything is Love.....

Christ talked about Love; many Masters have talked about Love, taught Love and experienced Love. But what is Love? It is a word which has thousands of names because everything is Love. If you perceive Love everywhere, the thing you perceive to be Love turns into Love. Two persons when they meet each other
they have a different kind of love. We recognise each other and we feel that there is something, then that love grows. In the same way there is motherly love for her child. For the child, there is love between friends, yet the fullness of Love stays always hidden. How many friends have you made in your life? How many people have you met in your life? Hundreds, maybe thousands. You meet them and feel a connection and then it disappears. Friends also come and after some time they go. When you are at school or college we have certain friends with the same goals, which is to study. You have certain friends and then they disappear and give place to other friends. That’s all included in the love that one emanates from oneself. The same on the spiritual path, on the path of searching, there is another kind of Love which awakens inside of you and in this Love it is not about letting go because this Love is always growing. So the question arises can we really love in this time that kind of Love? Well yes, it is possible because that kind of Love is unconditional Love which everybody carries through life from small, ‘til you reach your destination. You always carry this universal Love inside of you and whether you love in a different kind of love or the universal Love is determined by how you let it vibrate within you. So the question is, like I said, if it’s possible to love? Yes, it is possible to love this kind of Love. To be able to let it grow and awaken inside of you, you should learn first to accept. But accept what? There are so many things to accept. When you look around, everywhere is telling you to accept. Accept this because everybody says this is right or that is right, but it is not about accepting this or that; it’s about accepting yourself. Only by accepting yourself you develop this trust inside of you. When you have this trust inside of yourself, this Love will grow more and more. Of course I don’t say that doubt will not arise, but this is where you will learn to control doubt by controlling the pride. There is one thing which can be an obstacle in one’s path and that is spiritual pride. When you live in the world outside, you don’t bother about anybody. You do your things and people do their things. But on the spiritual path very often there is competition. Each one competing with each other thinking which one is the best. It’s like if this one is like that then I have to be like that, too. No; you are individual and your aim, your dharma is different from everybody. Often people say “Swamiji I am on the spiritual path but I am working on this and that, I am so busy. I can’t be there!” Well, God has put you there so you have to do your duty there and if He chooses to come to you in that way, He will come to you. He will awaken the cosmic Love inside of you wherever you are the moment you start to accept. Have acceptance of yourself and then control this pride because this pride will always stop somebody.

Love is such a big gift......

When we talk about freedom, what are the things we think of at first? Freedom of country, political freedom, economic freedom… But the inner freedom is the most important among all the different kinds of freedom, and that is what mankind really wants to achieve. This is the reason why each soul has come on earth. They come to achieve this freedom, this love of God. Let me try to interpret this kind of freedom: If you want something you shall have it. But you can also detach from the desire by your own will. You see, mankind desires many things, but when they have them they get attached to them. This attachment brings unhappiness. The more you are attached to things which are limited or not eternal, the more you feel miserable. You lose this inner freedom. You become limited in the mind. You become limited with your body, which in turn makes your soul limited. So, to free one’s self, one must surrender the body, mind and soul to God, to the Unlimited. It’s true that everybody can’t renounce the world and live only for God, but you can continuously try to remember God wherever you are. Remember that the soul inside you is the light of God. The more you think of yourself being part of this light of God, this great love, the more you will reflect this love. But the more you think that you are just a normal human being, the more you will just be a normal human being with all of its limited qualities and you cover all of your divine qualities. Take time every day, just five minutes, to be with your Self. Forget about the world outside, forget everything. Forget about your husband or wife; forget about all your relationships with the outside. Only think of the relationship with your Self. Do you know what treasure you will find? You will find the biggest treasure of all, a treasure that nobody can steal from you. And that is love. Love is such a big gift. We feel it with our heart, we know it with our mind, but to realise it, to become one with this love, to spread this love, unconditionally – this is the aim of mankind. The more you spread it, the more you reflect it, the more you will discover your Self. 

You can’t understand Unconditional Love out of fear....

We are here – some for tourism, some for the spiritual search, and some just to see who Swami Vishwananda is. But, actually all of you –knowingly and unknowingly – you are here to open the heart; to know who we really are, not here, in this room, but here in this world. Often people come and ask me, “How will we open our heart?” For me to answer this question is very easy, I know how the heart is opened. It depends only whether the person will accept it or not. The first question that I will ask is “Do you love?” Then they tell me “Yes I love!” But, do you love yourself? This is the main important thing. We love towards the outside, but in the same way we love the outside, we also judge the outside. As easy as it is to love, as easy it is to judge. You see, mankind is made in such a way that the attention is always turned towards the outside. Very rarely does it turn towards the inside. And this is a search to go inside! The moment you stop, you stop judging; the moment you stop looking for fault in others, you will start truly loving everybody. And for that, you have to start looking within yourself, looking for what you have to change in your life. I’m not saying to judge yourself, but to look at the negative part of you and face it. But by looking at the negativity only, you will see that you create this negativity. To understand Love, it’s simple, it is just…absence of fear. You can’t understand Unconditional Love out of fear. But if people really want to understand Love, really want to understand who they are…they will. But often, the fear is so great that it makes a barrier, and then you ask the question, “If I realise who I am, what is then?” The fear of the Unknown stops the want of realising. But if you accept, whatever, as the will of God and say “God Thy will be done!” and Christ has shown it, by saying, “Thy will be done – God’s will!” you will realise that the will of God is also your will without egoism. The will of God is one’s own will; it is the will of the soul, the will of the true identity, which is without any egoism; the purity is in the Self, it is one’s Self. So, to open the heart: the yogis knew that it would be difficult in this age for man to really open up the heart because of how the world would be. Today, I put the TV on, just for a short while – looking at the war, it is never finished. So I was thinking: mankind is looking for security but, looking at the world, what security will the world give? Each one has to be secure with one’s self. And this security is only in the trust of God. Trust in yourself! Even if one person is positive and really achieves that stage, it’s really great.

For the sake of Unconditional Love, we realise the Unity with the Divine.....

Christ said: A true friend is ready to sacrifice everything. And, actually, Love is that sacrifice. If you truly love, you will sacrifice everything. Until you have come to the point of really feeling this kind of Love inside of you – and you have to be ready – all the other kinds of love will have expectations. Very often what we call Love, it is just passion or desire. Today we love that person, tomorrow we love another person, but in one year you don’t even remember who these people were. Real Love is to be found deep inside of you, personally. It’s not in someone else, it’s inside of you. It’s your true nature. This is who you are in Reality. The Divine is not far away. He is inside of you. You just need to calm your mind and introvert yourself. So see how much you are truthful towards yourself and how much you really, sincerely want the Divine. True love is everlasting giving, not expectation. We do our sadhana, we do our spiritual practices, only to attain this Love, so that it may become unconditional. For the sake of Unconditional Love, we realise the Unity with the Divine. Then we can say that we are really in Love. As long as it’s here in the mind it is very difficult. Christ said: Love Thy God, with all Thy mind and Spirit. The mind has to be fully on the Divine. The mind has to transcend the limitations and transform itself.

A nice message of Sri Swami Vishwananda.....

...His message is simple: Just Love. Yes, just love. Love is all there is. Love is all you have to do. The rest will take care of itself. Those who have inner ears will hear. The words are like a sweet love song that if you allow it to touch you – will change your life forever. Because it will change you, and make you want to become again that which you already are, always have been, always will be - just Love.

Love can just flow.....

You have to rise in love! And how to rise in love is to find your Self, to Realise your Self, to realise the greatest gift that God has given you. Of course, some people will say “Yes, it’s easy to talk about it, but it’s difficult to practise it.” But Love is there! There is no point of saying that it’s difficult or it’s easy: it is there

already. It just needs time for you to look at it. And when you take time through your spiritual practice, you will realise the beauty of Love, the beauty of life and you will know why you are here. And once you have opened this fountain, this tap of Love, Love can just flow, nothing else. In your spiritual practice, whatever path you are on, whatever sadhana you are doing, why are you doing it? It is to Realise your Self, to Realise God inside of you, to have God-Realisation, because God-Realisation or Self-Realisation will not come to you just like that. It needs an effort from you.

Words of Sri Swami Vishwananda.....

You can love, you can love beyond what your mind is thinking about love. In the depth of this love you’ll be one with the Divine. Beyond all the duality that the mind creates is only the Self, and that’s what each one is here for. And no matter which path you are following, at the end, each path will reach that point.

All paths are right but you have to be disciplined in them. When I say disciplined I don’t mean forcing or pressing. This is spirituality. Something that has to emerge from the heart of man, is like a flower that opens without any force. Let it open, and let it shine with beauty.

Love is beyond expression......

What is life? The Divine is far away. For the mind to understand the Divine is very difficult. Until you have

really cleansed the mind completely, until you have really purified the mind completely, it is quite difficult to understand the Divine. Love. Life is Love. And Love, of course, is Divine. Love is God. But the feeling of Love, that’s what life is all about, to Realise this great Love, not just this partial love when today we say “I love you” and tomorrow “Who is that person?” Life is not that love, but the Love that is beyond expression, this Love that is unconditional, which is in everything around you. That’s what is life.

Don’t let the itching of the world get you......

...There was a blind man who was taken to a big hole. Some people then closed him in. In this hole there were eighty-four exits. Among these eighty-four exits, only one door was open. So they put the man inside and told the man to find this one door. So the man stopped, found the first door, tried to push it, but could not. Then the next door…the same thing. He reached the eighty-third door, but he didn’t know it. He had not been counting. When he was about to push this eighty-fourth door, his hand started to itch. So he forgot about the door and started scratching his hand. While scratching his hand, he missed the eighty-fourth door. Likewise, for many humans the door is now here. Don’t let the itching of the world get you. You want liberation? Make it strong in your mind; make it strong deep inside your heart. Let it reach fulfilment outside. You are this light. And you all can merge back in this light. You have to want it very, very strongly. It has to be the most important thing in your life. There are many divine incarnations. They all come, they all teach, they all go. People at different times assimilate it in their own way. But we are living in such an age right now that it is very easy to attain Self-realisation. We just need to be simple with ourselves. Simple in the mind. When I say simple, I mean just to love. Make this love unconditional. This love that you have inside of you, the source of all things, let it flow. 

At the Feet of the Father.....

...So, in this reading of the Gospel you see the Crucifixion of Jesus, but before the crucifixion, He had given many commandments to His Disciples. Above all, the commandment that He gave to the Disciples was to Love. How many times in this small piece has He been talking about Love? Many times, not twice, but many, many times He spoke about Love in it. And He also shows the non-duality of the Self, of being One with the Father. Because we are bound by the dualistic aspect of the body, we are limited. He even said it “Whoever loves me, they are with me and I am with them and they are with the Father and the Father is with them.” So, if He is with the Father, the Father is also with them, so there is no duality. That means that whoever loves, they are One with God. But this word Love, very often we take it for granted. We are like little Judases, you know, who love God for His gifts, who love God always for something. How many times do you really love God for the sake of loving Him and not asking anything? Always we ask God for something, but He is not bound by anything. He is not saying not to ask. He says ask, yes, until really you ask what it is you are here for. And why you are here is to Realise this Love. And when you Realise this Love that you have inside, you transcend everything and all becomes One. There is no duality that separates you from the Father. All the practices that you are doing, your meditation, your Kriya, all you are doing is for what? It’s to Realise your Self, no? But many people think they are Realised and they become very arrogant and they are the ones who judge everybody. They are the ones who say “Oh, this is right; this is wrong.” He said it. It is part of the Gospel. Jesus said: The Father is present everywhere, in everything. It is not up to me to say it, but you will know about it. If you just take this part of the Gospel and you meditate only on that, you will have a whole truth in it – especially about Love. I always talk about love, love, love, always, you know. It is true that the world doesn’t yet know about it. And yet, you are working for that, all of you who are spiritual, all of you who are searching for the truth. It is not outside, it is here inside of you, but you have to want to change. You have to really say “Yes, I want to change.” Like He said: Even if you want to change, the world will be against you. It’s perfectly true! Ask yourself in your life, in your own life itself, when you took the spiritual path, how many people became against you–firstly in your own family? So, it is normal. The more you advance towards the light, the others will be jealous, because inside everybody wants that. Everybody wants to be with the Father. Everybody wants to be close to the Divine, but, yet, they don’t want to make any effort. They don’t want to make any change to their life. They want to get everything happily and for free. So, if you want this really and sincerely, then be sincere towards yourself and ask the Father. Ask God and you will have it. It’s simple.

He will teach you to love – love without condition.....

In the Vishnupurana....it says, “Manav seva – Madhav seva.” This means, service to mankind is service to Lord Narayana. So try to see this Divine aspect in everybody. If you only look towards the outside, you will always come to a judgement point of the mind.

The mind has duality: You love – you don’t love; you are like this – or you are like that. You have to reach the point of non-duality, when you see only with the heart. This is the most beautiful thing. Years come, years go, it doesn’t bring anybody higher if the heart is not open. When you really give your best, you will open up your heart. How many saints started small, by helping a few people, and then they became selflessly devoted to the people, to the helping of others. Because in their mind they did not think that they were doing it for Jesus. They just did it because they loved to do it.

This reminds me of a saint, St. Sabbas of Egypt. You know, in the Christian tradition, whenever you go to a hermit, or to a monk, they welcome you by washing your hands and your feet. Even the Benedictines used to do it. They do not do it anymore. So, once a man came to visit St. Sabbas in his cave while St. Sabbas was meditating. When he noticed the visitor, he became very happy. He washed the hands of this man and he washed his feet, and he was so much in love and he was crying so much. When he looked up, it was Jesus sitting there. He started crying and said, “Oh, my Lord, You are here!” At that moment, the visitor disappeared.

So, God will not come to you in a beautiful form. He will always come, even as your own enemy. He will come, because this is how He will teach you to love – love without condition. 

When true faith arises in the heart of man, all outside images disappear....

God has created everyone equally. He has placed Himself equally in everybody’s heart. God lives in the form of Love in the hearts of all people. Everyone is an aspect of this Divine Love. Regardless of your religion, be it Christian, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist or any other path, this Divine Love connects us all.

Faith is the same everywhere. When true faith arises in the heart of man, all outside images disappear. We have to understand that God doesn’t have any religion; God doesn’t have any caste; God doesn’t have any colour. God is beyond all this. We have to achieve this Oneness with the Divine beyond all diversity on the outside. As long as one looks outside, one will always see the differences between us, and of course, there will never be peace.

My mission is to help mankind realise their own Divine Self and to be able to express it in their day-to-day life. I wish for everyone to open their hearts so that they may experience this unconditional Divine love deep within.

My mission is to spread love. Divine love. The word ‘love’ itself has so many meanings nowadays that people have forgotten the true aspect of love. This unconditional love is what will change the world. All other types of love have expectations. But when one feels this true love inside one’s heart, it’s beyond all expectation. And only with this love can peace be restored.

The seven flowers.....

When we love, we love and forget. We don’t expect anything when we love somebody. Well, there are two different kinds of love. There is a love on the outside, where you only expect something, but there is another kind of love. There is a love where you will do anything for this person. Just to please this person you will do anything. Even that kind of love is divided in two. Whatever is done unconditionally will always make you happy, but whatever is done with a condition will always make you unhappy. To awaken this Love, to make this Love greater and greater is not that difficult. I always say, you just need to want it. I’ll tell you a small story. Once there was a Sage, a great Saint who went to a town. He was so famous that people were very excited when he was coming, so they started preparing four weeks before, busily preparing a lot of things. Then someone said “I heard that this Swami likes to use seven flowers when he performs his prayer.” That’s a lot of flowers – a big confusion started happening. They wondered “What  flower shall we take to give to this Swami?” They didn’t know what  flower to take. So they ran to the Saint and said “Reverend Sir, we heard that while praying you use seven flowers, but there is such a variety of flowers that we don’t know what  flowers to use.” The Saint looked at them and started laughing like mad. He said “Yes, I use seven flowers to pray and I want that each one of you gives these seven flowers to me. The seven flowers are: truthfulness, love, service to people, prayer, devotion, loyalty and control of the senses. These are the seven flowers. He said “If somebody gives these to God, gives them to one’s Self, God will be pleased with that. There is no greater thing than that. This reminds me of Krishna who said in the Bhagavad Gita “When somebody offers to me just a small leaf with Love from the heart, I shall accept it.” People offer a lot of things to please God – big, big things on the outside, but everything is from Him. It is He who gives; we are just taking what is given by Him and offering it back to Him. This Love that we have inside is also Him, but it is up to us to develop it or not. It is up to us how we handle it. We can go and do service on the outside like many organisations that just buy a lot of things and give them to the poor countries. Does this mean that this is service? You can always put a hundred euros aside every month, put it into an account of some organisation somewhere and say “That’s service”. The moment the money is gone you don’t even know what is happening with it, but when you yourself go; when you yourself participate in it, it creates another joy. It is this joy that God wants you to develop. People say “Yes, but I don’t have time to go and serve”, because in the mind they think that when you talk about that kind of service you have to run to India or to Africa. Your neighbour is dying, your neighbour is hungry by your side and you are thinking of India and of Africa, but God is thinking about them. Service starts near, around you. Stop seeing the difference, clear your mind of differences and see the same Lord everywhere. Offer the flowers that I just mentioned from deep within your heart. Offer them to Him. In this way you don’t even need to sit to pray, because He will be always with you. Open up your heart and serve whenever you can. Help whenever you can.

Feel it from deep within you ....

We are looking for Him on the outside. We are looking for Him in this world, but we can just drop deep inside ourselves and find Him. Let go of the mind which is always busy looking on the outside. If we just drop ourselves deep in our heart, we can feel this peace and happiness and enjoy it. You will see how great it is, how great it is to love. Feel it from deep within you – this is the true love of loving somebody. It is not only for one person but for everybody. Love unconditionally!

Take time every day.....

When there is complete trust in God.......

Knowledge will bring you to a certain level, but for the rest you will have to surrender yourself completely to the Love of God. Firstly, you have to surrender your mind completely, then you have to surrender your body and then you have to surrender your soul. The power of chanting the Name of God doesn’t purify only the mind, it purifies the body and it purifies, also, the soul.When there is complete trust in God, complete trust in yourself, when you ask God for Himself, will He give Himself to you. Trust that whatever He does is right. Even if the mind doesn’t understand it, it is right. Once there was a king. This king was very generous and very loving, but he had one fault: he was short-tempered. For that, many people were afraid of him. But in his kingdom there was one minister that he loved very much. This minister used to pray every day and he had great trust in God. One day the king went hunting in the forest and, on the way, there was a cobra in front of the king´s horse. The horse panicked and threw the king up in the air and the king landed down near the cobra. The cobra bit the king´s index finger. The king knew that if he didn’t cut off his finger, the poison would kill him. So he pulled his dagger and chopped off his finger. He was in very much pain, so the minister rushed to him, took a piece of cloth and bandaged the king´s finger. As he was doing the bandage, he said to the king “King, don’t worry, it’s God´s Will that you cut your finger and it’s God´s Will that you have pain.” The king bore this for some time, but the minister was going on and on and on. The king could not handle it anymore, so he said to his soldiers “Take this man and put him in the prison. I can’t bear him. I can’t listen to him. He is keeping on saying ‘it’s God’s Will, God’s Will. I’m in pain and he’s saying that it’s God’s Will.’” So they took the minister to the prison and locked him inside, but he was happy and said “Thank you God, I am here, now, quiet and I can chant Your Name. In the world where I’m so busy, I chant Your Name only when I have a little bit of time, but, now, I’m here and have time to chant Your Name all the time.” A few days later, the king went out hunting again, but this time he was attacked by a group of tribesmen. They captured the king and brought him to the chief. The chief was very happy to see the king tied up and said “King, you are so lucky. Today we will sacrifice you to the Goddess Kali.” The King thought “Well, I’m not lucky at all. I will be killed!” Then the chief of the tribe said to his tribesmen “It’s not every time that the Goddess gets royal blood. Take the king, wash him and dress him nicely. We will offer him to the Goddess afterwards.” But as they were removing his clothes to wash him, the tribesmen noticed that the king had one missing finger. They rushed quickly to the chief and said “Chief, chief, we can’t offer this king to the Goddess, because he is incomplete. He is missing one finger.” The chief thought for a moment and then he said “OK, let him go. You are a lucky king. Because of your missing finger, we can’t offer you to the Goddess.” The king was very happy. He rushed back to the palace and he went directly to the jail. He opened the jail and embraced the minister. As he was embracing the minister he said “Thank you! It´s true, you were right: it was God´s will! I was saved, because I’m missing one finger.” Then he asked the minister “But I don’t understand one thing: why did I lock you in here? You are such a good man. You praise God all the time.” The minister replied “It´s simple: I told you that everything happens through the Will of God. If I had come with you the second time, if you had not locked me up in jail, what would have happened? They would have taken us both. And when they had seen that you were missing one finger, that you were incomplete, but that I was complete, they would have taken me and offered me to the Goddess!” So, whatever the Higher Consciousness, whatever God, whatever Name you put to Him, gives you, He’s always right. If something negative happens, now, you may not understand it, but later on in life, you will realise that whatever He did was for your own good. You should never be scared of surrendering yourself to His Will. You should never be scared of opening your heart and Loving. Start to Love, now, this moment. Open your heart and love. Let it flow. And know that whatever you do with this Love will always be perfect. You will meditate, and you will enjoy your meditation. You will do yoga and you will enjoy your yoga. You will chant the name of God and you will enjoy it. People meditate and chant, but when there is no Love in it, it fades with time. Also, the love with limitation fades. But true Love, real Love, Unconditional Love never fades. So cultivate this Love, cultivate this Unconditional Love and surrender to the Divine.

“Swamiji, is there any technique to open the heart?”.....

....Well there are techniques to open the mind, they are positive thinking and chanting the Divine Names. An open mind leads to an open heart. The heart is an instrument God has created which has a mind of its own. It has its own will. You can’t open it or close it. Sometimes people say you have a closed heart but even if you try to close it, it won’t close. It’s a stubborn chakra! It will do whatever it wants to do. The stubbornness of the heart makes the Love inside you ever present. Just open the heart; you just open the real eyes which God has given you. You will see that it was and is always there. That’s what you are in reality and what you will always be, until you dissolve completely into the light. So realise that. How long do humans stay on earth? Maybe one hundred years maximum? Well not everybody reaches that, some reach 80, some reach 60; but know that death is certain. Nobody can escape it. Even Him, He manifests Himself but He has accepted that. The difference between Him and humans is that He transcends humanity into divinity. That’s what He has talked about. To love each other. He always told people about this mutual Love. All that He has ever talked about is just Love. In Love you have everything. Everything that you are looking for is inside of you, not outside. Outside things come and go. Look, I talked about friends, love in relationships, yet death takes everything away. But consciousness, your higher Self, moves on one life to the next until you attain the Supreme. If you realise the Supreme, actually I won’t say attain the Supreme because it is who you are, you see that the essence of the soul is Him.

There is a saying.....

...... “Make one step towards God,and he will make a hundred towards you,” it’s true. The moment you are sincere with yourself and you make this one step, you’ll receive it.  The door will be wide open, and you will see the Lord running to you! You know how beautiful it is to experience that? How joyful it is?  Words can’t express it. I can just say “joyful”, I can just say “very happy,” but it is beyond that. It is beyond the word “love” itself! In the mind we can imagine it, how it is to be continuously, constantly in love. It’s marvellous. This Love is unconditional, it’s without expecting anything. It’s just flowing and flowing. Be this instrument, all of you!
