Sri Swami Vishwananda talks about......

It’s really a grace to be spiritual, and to receive it at such a young age. People don’t realise it. I encourage you to carry on in that way and grow more and more, and strengthen faith in yourself. And grow in it, also for all of you here, not only for the youngsters. You know there is a saying,  ‘Spirituality starts when religion ends’.Real spirituality is in each one of you, in each one of your hearts, whether you believe or not, it’s there. God is sitting permanently within you. But to achieve it, this is each one’s way, each one’s personal way. To discover the God without form, God without name, the eternal – to realise that you, all of you, are part of Him. This is the aim of man.Open up your heart! Love, love unconditionally! Love without limit! Love without expecting anything! Realise this love is ever flowing, the more you give, the more you receive. Just give for the sake of giving. That is what you are here for. Not to receive anything, not to take anything from anybody. Because, what is the difference between you and me? Nothing. But one difference: I realise it, and you don’t realise it. But you can also reach the same level. You need to be continuously in love.

A true friend is ready to sacrifice everything......

Christ said: A true friend is ready to sacrifice everything. And, actually, Love is that sacrifice. If you truly love, you will sacrifice everything. Until you have come to the point of really feeling this kind of Love inside of you – and you have to be ready – all the other kinds of love will have expectations. Very often what we call Love, it is just passion or desire. Today we love that person, tomorrow we love another person, but in one year you don’t even remember who these people were. Real Love is to be found deep inside of you, personally. It’s not in someone else, it’s inside of you. It’s your true nature. This is who you are in Reality. The Divine is not far away. He is inside of you. You just need to calm your mind and introvert yourself. So see how much you are truthful towards yourself and how much you really, sincerely want the Divine. True love is everlasting giving, not expectation. We do our sadhana, we do our spiritual practices, only to attain this Love, so that it may become unconditional. For the sake of Unconditional Love, we realise the Unity with the Divine. Then we can say that we are really in Love. As long as it’s here in the mind it is very difficult. Christ said: Love Thy God, with all Thy mind and Spirit. The mind has to be fully on the Divine. The mind has to transcend the limitations and transform itself. Our true Self is in constant Unity. He is each one of us. And that’s true Love. The ancient Greeks said to know Thyself, and you will know everything else. It’s true. Once you know yourself through your practices, you will know everything, because everything is linked together and Love is that which links everything. Life is very precious, you know. Life is actually the most precious thing that one has. So, don’t waste it. Don’t waste time. God has called you to the spiritual path and it’s for a reason. Take full advantage of this life and Realise your Self.

Sri Swami Vishwananda is talking about Radha's Love to Krishna... True Love that is unconditional...

Radha- among all of the Gopis She was the preference of Krishna and also She loved Krishna the most, more than any of the other gopis.
For Her Krishna was everything, there was no left or right, there was nobody else except Krishna.
Why Radhika had so much Love for Krishna?
Actually Radhika, Radha is Krishna Himself, is part of Himself, who has incarnated before the main aspect of Narayana came on earth.
She is the Bhakti part, the part of devotion.
So Her Love was so intense for Krishna, that the other Gopis in Brindavan would tease Her.
They would tease Her by calling Her Krishna, but She wouldn’t mind.
She was older than Krishna, but yet Her Love for Krishna was not a Mother’s Love, was not a friend’s Love, but it was a Lover’s love.
A real Lover, who not only says “I Love you, I Love you”, and then it doesn’t mean anything, like nowadays so many people say “I Love you, I Love you”, and then they don’t really mean it, they don’t even have Love in it.
These are just words.
But Her love- She doesn’t even need to say "I Love You" to Krishna, because Krishna would run towards Her.

Leave it back. Don’t bother about the past.
As long as you hang on the past, the past will hang with you.
The more you let go off the past, more you will be free and the more you will be in the present.

HAPPY VALENTINE`S DAY

We are all here because of our spiritual path, because of our spiritual way-this way to the heart, this way to realisation, God-Realisation. Most of you probably know that the main aim, on the outside, is to know thyself, to realise the completeness of who you are in Reality. In this search, you make many travels to India, travels to America, travels everywhere, but all this searching on the outside has a limit. We are on the search and the search brings us to fun places. We meet different people, but still we are incomplete. We say, “God I have left heaven to realise it here. Whatever I’m doing, I’m doing it for Thee. Wherever I go, I’m just looking for Thee.”All your searching towards the outside is of no use, because at the end you realise that He’s always with you, deep in your heart. God is always with you. It’s like with the ocean where you have lots of precious gems. To get them, you have to dive into the ocean and go deep inside. So, God lies deep in the heart of man. With your mind you have to dive, dive deep within your heart, because everywhere are the waves of illusion. To achieve this Divine state you have to really love God. You have to start, firstly, to love yourself. You love everybody. Every day you say to somebody “I love you,” but how many times do you say to yourself “I love you?” It’s easy to love others, but some say that it is difficult to love one’s self. But I will say, “No, it’s not difficult.” See, when you love others, you see the goodness in others, but when the point comes to love yourself, you see all your negativity. Stop looking at the negative. It’s only through being positive that it can stop. It’s only when you start looking at this positivity and start thinking about yourself positively that you will dive deep inside this ocean. Then your heart will open up. Know one thing, when you become a lover, the Beloved is always with you - all the time. But you have to become the lover. You have to be madly in love with God the same way you are madly in love with your partner,for some time - for some time, because it usually doesn’t last long.You have to consider how Love is. Even in a normal relationship, you forget about everything when you are in love. All goes well. Then, after some time, it becomes such a routine. Then you get fed up. But the real Love, which you have inside your heart, you will never get fed up with, because that’s what you are made of; that is what your body, each cell of your body is made of. You just need to realise it and say to yourself, “I am part of God and I’m made in the image of God and I’m with Him, He’s with me.” When you realise this Oneness, you become this Oneness.I’m telling you, it’s not difficult. If you practice your meditation, sincerely, every day, you will achieve it. If you love sincerely, you will achieve it. If you serve sincerely, you will achieve it. But it’s upon to you to do it. The sincerity with yourself will be the sincerity that you will give to the outside. You have to become an instrument of God and you have to become an instrument of this Love.

Swami Vishwananda tells you today:

Love can also be joy. It's not only always hurting. There is a mystical joy, a mystical form of love, that you can even discover in pain. This pain is not a pain of just saying “Oh, I’m having pain.” Like for example: yesterday I went to this place, I hit myself and now I have pain. It’s not a physical pain and it’s not an emotional pain, that you create with your mind, saying “Yes, I want to be painful today”. Pain of love is so intense. The Saints know about it.
Their hearts pain to be with the Divine. They cry for it. Read the life of St. Francis. Do you know how much he was crying always?
But it does not have to be always that intensive.
Right now we are talking about the pain of love, but St. Francis also had great joy.
This insensitivity can also manifest itself as being painful. It's not really painful, but it’s a longing for the Beloved One.

Swami Vishwananda tells you today:

The more you feel Him, the more you become part of Him. Like it is said also in the Gita, “When one chants the name of God, the Lord takes full possession of the person. The more the person looses oneself, the more he looses the Ego, the pride, the more the person will realise the Divine. But the more one hangs on the pride, the more one hangs on the identity, less it will be there real happiness to be found. So the easiest way that the Lord has given is to sing His glory. Any Divine Names just sing it. And when you sing, let yourself, be drawn into it. Not just try to think with the mind. Especially in the West we like to use the mind a lot, we like to understand thing, with our mind. But our mind has a limit. Does the mind understand the heart? It will never understand. The mind will understand things only, when there is a limit to it. When there is a wall that you can bang yourself, on it, the mind will understand. And then of course you will complain about it, it hurts.
Whereas when you centre yourself in your heart, and awaken this Divine Consciousness, you will always flow. No matter what, you will enter Divine Ecstasy, you will feel different energy flowing through you, where the mind can’t understand it and then the mind will cry, “I want to understand it, but I can’t”. Then the power of the mind decreases; the power of the heart increases. And it’s so simple that what the Lord has send you here to realise. To develop Bhakti and get self-realised.

Swami Vishwananda tells us today:

Open up your heart! Love, love unconditionally! Love without limit! Love without expecting anything! Realise this love is ever flowing, the more you give, the more you receive.
