We are all brothers and sisters

“We are all brothers and sisters and come from the same God. Our true identity, hidden behind our emotions and thoughts of daily life, is our soul, our own true Self. To achieve outer unity with all our brothers and sisters, we have to achieve unity within, of body, mind and soul. We have to accept and love ourselves the way we are now, with our physical body, emotions and thoughts, and at the same time strive for the Soul. Mankind needs to remember that all people come from the same source and all will go back to the same source.”

We are living in a dreaming state

It’s the same for us; we are living in a dreaming state. When we become Awakened, we will see the Reality. But this Reality is not to be understood with the mind. It’s different. And that’s what human beings are here for, to attain this Reality of who they are, to see that they are not just this, as we call it, bag of bones. We will attain this Reality only through Love, Unconditional Love; only by loving in the same way that He loves us. Do you think His Love is bound by any limitation of what we understand of Him or how we dress Him? The Love of God is not bound by anything, except by the love of His devotees.

True love is everlasting giving

True love is everlasting giving, not expectation. We do our sadhana, we do our spiritual practices, only to attain this Love, so that it may become unconditional. For the sake of Unconditional Love, we realise the Unity with the Divine. Then we can say that we are really in Love. As long as it’s here in the mind it is very difficult. Christ said: Love Thy God, with all Thy mind and Spirit. The mind has to be fully on the Divine. The mind has to transcend the limitations and transform itself. This is, also, why we pray to Lord Ganesha “Help us to remove all the barriers.” We ask Him to help us, so that we can transcend the limitations, so that we can be ourselves, because our true Self knows no judgment, no difference, no pain, no hatred, no jealousy and no anger. Our true Self is in constant Unity. He is each one of us. And that’s true Love.

Sri Swami Vishwananda tells us today.....

Look at Mirabai, one of the devotees of Krishna. Do you know her story? Some of you might know it, and some of you don’t. She was a queen, and her love for Krishna was so great, it was beyond everything. When she got married, she said to her husband, “My love for Krishna is beyond all your love, that you can understand. I see Him in you and in all of you who are around.” Whenever she used to sing Krishna’s name or sing a bhajan, he was present there. Such was her love that the Divine manifested Himself there.

Whenever you call from deep within your heart, whenever you call any aspect of the Divine, the Divine will take that aspect and come to you. Mirabai’s love was so great that at the end of her life they blamed her for so many things – but she was fixed and steady on her Krishna.

There was a lot of jealousy around her. But this is normal. You see, when you have a power point, all the souls around want the same thing.

Sri Swami Vishwananda talks about........

Always people ask for something and, of course, God will always give. But there will come a point where there will be no need to ask the Divine for anything, because it will be given to you before you ask. The more you are surrendering to the Will of God, to the Divine–not surrendering only in your mind, but also surrendering here, in your heart – the more there will be no difference between you and Him. That’s what Radharani transcends, the difference between She and Krishna, to show that there is no difference between we humans and the Divine. The only difference is that we are limited with our mind. We see the difference, we see the duality, but in the higher realms they don’t see the same way we see. They have a hierarchy where they have their own jobs, their own duties to do, their dharma to do, but there is no judgement like we always have.

God accepts,forgetting that He is God and becomes the servant of His devotee. And such Love one has to cultivate; such Love, such devotion, such calling one has to have inside the heart. And when you have Him, you will have everything. Aisi prīti badihī vrindāvana gopina nāca nacāī. Krishna demonstrated such Love, such humility, in Vrindavan, where He would dance with the gopis, He would dance with the shepherd, He would dance with the cow. He showed such Love that He didn’t limit Himself for Himself, but He limited Himself for His devotees. He limited Himself for everybody to enjoy Him. Only by Love one will reach Him. Only when one has selfless Love, will one Realise Him. Only when one has selfless Love, that one will become One with Him. Develop such Love and He is always with you.

The greatest gift that God has given you......

Have you ever sat down and looked at the nature? Have you ever felt the nature? That Love which is burning inside of you, that Life which is inside of you is everywhere. If you analyse the Truth around you, if you analyse the beauty around you, you will realise that we are all linked together by one thing, which is Love. And it’s beyond the religions, it’s beyond the colours, it’s beyond your status in the outside. It’s beyond the duality that is in your mind, because Love doesn’t know any duality. Love just knows how to Love. And Love doesn’t expect anything. We express this Love every day. Some do it consciously and for some it happens unconsciously. The Divine Love we are talking about right now. You have to rise in love! And how to rise in love is to find your Self, to Realise your Self, to realise the greatest gift that God has given you.

And when you take time through your spiritual practice, you will realise the beauty of Love, the beauty of life and you will know why you are here. And once you have opened this fountain, this tap of Love, Love can just flow, nothing else.

See with the inner eyes.....

It is much more beautiful to see with the inner eyes. The light that shines through all these things around you and in you – this is the Truth. Each particle reflects the light of God – this is the Truth. And this Truth is accessible for everybody.



God be in everything.....

He is everything......

When you find your spiritual Teacher, when you surrender completely to your Master, your Master becomes everything for you. Your Master becomes the mother, He will shower the Love of a mother on you. He becomes the father, He will be disciplined with you. He becomes everything. Then the world dies. He becomes the world. The Master becomes the path.

Sri Swami Vishwananda tells us today....

For real Love, you can also give your life happily. If somebody has real Love for someone, he can give his life for this person. And that’s how it is for a Master. A Master can give his life for his disciple. To save his disciple, He will do anything, but people run blindly. People, they are like blind men. They think they know better. They start talking loudly about big, big things, when really, it is only by asking, by surrendering to the master that one will really be free.

The Divine will shower you with his grace and love.....

Once you have surrendered, the Divine will shower His love upon you. God will shower you with His grace and Love and you will feel His Love continuously, you will feel His joy continuously – a joy which doesn’t have any limit, a Love which doesn’t have any limit. And this Love, once you have Realised it, once you have treasured it inside your heart, once you have treasured it in each part of your body–in your mind, in your heart, in your soul– you yourself will spread this Love. You yourself will spread the Name of God, because this is how it is with the Name of God, this is how it is with the Love of God. The more you have the Love of God, the more it will spread out, the more you will not be able to keep it, the more your heart will explode to let it out.When you have Realised this Love, all become the same. You will see somebody crying out of joy for God, you will see somebody laughing out of joy for God, but your mind will be still. Your mind will not have any judgements on anything.

Desire the Ultimate, and you shall have it. Surrender your body, mind and soul. Focus on any Divine aspect firstly, and then you realise your Divinity. Remember that whoever you are, even if your advancement is slow or fast, God loves you. He loves you even more than you can think about love, more than the mind of man can think about. So always trust in this love, always hang on this love, and never let go of Him. He is always with you.

Sri Swami Vishwananda talks about........

There are many ways of attaining Divine love. There are many ways of attaining this unity, this realisation of who we really are. Each person has their own way, but all paths are the same. At the end you will experience the same love, the same happiness. For sure, some ways are longer and some are shorter. Some people like taking a short way, and some people like taking a long way. Do you like the long way or the short way? Of course the shorter way is better (laughs)… The quickest way is just to love.

Being in the present moment......

Being in the present moment is the greatest gift, so enjoy the nectar, enjoy the sweetness, even if, as I said before, you don’t perceive what you are receiving. You are receiving something which will contribute to your awareness and to your advancement, to attaining the Lotus Feet of the Lord, to the fulfilment of the human life, to the fulfilment of why you have incarnated here.

You need faith like a child, because when you look at a child, a child doesn’t ask questions. It’s true! You go to a child and you say, “Listen my dear, that boy is your brother”. The child will not say “Yes, mother” or “No, mother” or “Why it is like that?” No, he will just accept it, because the mother has said “Yes, this child is your brother”, because she knows it! This confidence in the mother, you know, is there! And that self-confidence you should have.

Only through Love

Love is the most important thing and we each have to become an emissary of that Divine Love. And to become an emissary of that Love, we have to realise firstly how important it is, because it’s only through Love that the world will change. It’s only through Love that peace and harmony will be restored. Love has many aspects and one of the aspects is harmony and another aspect is unity.

Like Sri Krishna said in the Gita: A true yogi must first realise Me within himself, then, he realises Me as an extension of the Self everywhere. Like I said yesterday in the story of Krishna’s flute, we just give ourselves. Be like that. Be in the hands of God. May you be ready always to be His messenger, His tool, to spread His Love.

Spirituality is simplicity

“I am part of God and I’m made in the image of God and I’m with Him, He’s with me.” When you realise this Oneness, you become this Oneness. I’m telling you, it’s not difficult. If you practice your meditation, sincerely, every day, you will achieve it. If you love sincerely, you will achieve it. If you serve sincerely, you will achieve it.

You have to become an instrument of God and you have to become an instrument of this Love. Spirituality is simplicity.

When you become equal toward the outside, by knowing that everything and everybody is One, you will love everybody; you will love firstly yourself. As I said before, you are the temple of God. God dwells inside of you. You will realise this Love for yourself. You will know that He is here, sitting here all the time.

He is here all the time, and He is waiting, telling you, “wake up and make yourself realised”, because you were born with this realisation!
It’s just that all this dirt from the mind is limiting the Self.
Cross over this, chant the name of God and be in love with God, because He is the only one that can really love you unconditionally, He is the only one who really gives to you without expecting something in return.

"You have to be happy by chanting, by doing your prayer to the Lord, because He’s always with you. Your parents, your mum and dad, will be with you for some time, but He will always be with you. He was with you from the beginning and He will always be with you until the end, until you realise your Self and until you attain Him. He’s your best friend, He’s the only one that you can really trust, and He’s the only one that gives solutions for everything."

A Meditation given by Sri Swami Vishwananda

We do this meditation. When we can practice, I will use OM as a reference. You can use any Divine form that you feel close with. Because OM is the cosmic sound, it resounds in everybody’s heart. Even if you create a form, you give OM a form, at the same time you focus on it. OM is just vibration.

Leave your eyes open, don’t close them, because in the moment you close them, you start thinking. I want you to take five deep breaths – in and out and when you breathe out, drop your shoulders and release all the tension from them. Take your time. Breathe in slowly and breathe out slowly. You don’t need to be quick. Now, close your eyes. Use the creative power that God has given to mankind. As God is the Creator, so you are also a creator. So, let’s create the Divine form, at your third eye, in between your eyebrows. Create an OM sign, if you know how it looks, or you can create a cross, or the form of the Divine Mother, Krishna, any Divine form. Look with the inward eye... look at how beautiful the form is and listen to your breathing. Breathe the Divine name in, slowly. Breathe until you cannot inhale anymore. Then hold you breath and focus at your third eye on the Divine form, and breathe out again, the same Divine name. If you have a guru mantra, it is nice, that you do the guru mantra with the breath. Don’t forget to listen to your breath, too. It’s a great help. This helps you to focus. Forget about everything. Just let your focus be on the Divine form or on any Divine aspect that you have created. Slowly, let it grow. This divine aspect is the same size as your face, which is full of light. It is growing more and more. Half of your body, you see in just this Divine form. Now you see your whole body and this Divine aspect is the same size, and this Divine aspect becoming bigger, you see your physical body inside this Divine form. You see yourself in the Divine. You see that your body is becoming light and merging into this divine form. Continue going deeper and deeper in it. Now slowly, reduce this divine aspect. Bring it near your heart. Let it merge in your heart. Feel the love, and see the light that this aspect brings to you.

Now slowly open your eyes, but stay within this state.

Sit quietly and start the conversation with the Divine within yourself. Because it’s only in silence that you will be able to control the thought. Talk less – because people who keep talking and talking – they are just running away. They are just scared of seeing the truth, that’s why they talk and talk. They talk without knowing what they are talking about.If you want to start the communication with the Divine within yourself, be as much silent as possible.

You know how beautiful it is to listen to the Divine inside you? It’s the most beautiful thing; I can’t even express it with words, because words are still limited.

Let you and God merge together, and become one. Like sugar, it gets mixed with water and becomes one. In the same way, let yourself merge together and disappear in the love of God. Only the universal consciousness exists.

Many of you think, “Jesus is so great. Why did he die? Why did his body die? Why did he go through the crucifixion?”Before the crucifixion, he knew that inside himself something great was happening, something that human minds can’t understand. He materialised his body into light, like he did when he transmuted himself on the mountain.

How many people will really understand that? Not many. He did it to show that within our body lays the spiritual body. We all can get access to this spiritual body if we really want it. By the way, through the crucifixion Jesus showed that he was not just this mere human being going for crucifixion, accepting all to rise above the illusion and become the light. That is what man is here for – to continuously remind one that within this body there is the spiritual body, and that this is the reality. And the other body can make this body grow above it.

This is the aim of man: to find the spiritual body, to find and realise the Christ in each one. He has not just come to show the way to only a few people. All the Great Ones have come for humanity. They have shown people the way to their true Self, the way of realising that we are all part of the same Divine energy. We all have come from the same ocean of love and we all will go back to the same ocean of love.

Through this love we celebrate the resurrection of Christ within each one. This is most important to realise that Christ is always with you, every second, every moment – whether you think of him or not! He’s there. Any time you can hold his hand.

Sri Swami Vishwananda: "Let us use our imagination a bit."

Close your eyes and go inside of you. Let’s play with the mind a bit. I did it already. With the power of creation, with the power of thought, make your willpower strong and say that you are the child of God. Say, “I am the child of God.” Inwardly! Continue letting your mind think. Imagine now, how God is looking at us, whether He’s laughing, whether He’s enjoying it. Imagine each one of you to be a small God. Put yourself in the place of Jesus, in the place of Krishna – see that there is no difference between you and them. Look at the world how it is, see when you were small; it was the Divine who was looking through you. See your neighbours, see your parents – I mean the physical ones, see the people you know around, your friends, your relatives, but see them through the eyes of God – not the eyes of man. Is there any difference? On that level there is no difference. The same light dwells in everything, in the tree, the animal, in every human being. In everything there is this light; in everything there is this energy of love.

See how beautiful it is, how peaceful this world can be, if everybody sees it in that way.

Forget about your body. Just concentrate on yourself and the Divine within you. If the mind is playing games with you, close your eyes and repeat inside, “I am the light. I am love. I am joy, I am peace!”

Recite it many times, until you become this light, this love, this joy, and this peace. See it. See it in the eyes of God that there is no difference; see it in the eyes of Jesus. You will see there is no difference. See it in the eyes of Krishna; you will see there is no difference. See in the eyes of any master, that there is no difference. But if you try to see it with the mind, you will just see difference, nothing else.

Every prayer, every thought, every action, vibrates on a certain level. Raise the frequency of vibration; raise it in your consciousness… You are an instrument of the Divine. Let us show that we are this instrument, not just by saying it, also by our actions, how we welcome everything…

Keep reminding yourself. Now say it, “I am Divine!” Each breath that you’re taking, say inwardly to yourself, “I am Divine!”

Picture in your mind a beautiful forest. This forest that you are picturing is your own creation, the creation of God within you. The same way that God created the world – by the willpower, by the power of word – create this beautiful forest inside you. This forest will wear your name, each one. And in this forest there is just peace and love.

Each tree in this forest is your own reflection. It is your Self… This is the kingdom of the plant…

Picture in the mind the animal you love most – you can also see lots of animals. Be in the super-conscious. You are part of the creation of the animal kingdom. See yourself in all the animals you are creating… There you are also present in the animal kingdom…

Picture yourself as being in a mighty mountain. You are also present in it. Each stone on it is your creation… See yourself as being the mountain. Create the whole sky with lots of stars. Each one of the shining stars is your Self…

Now picture yourself in any Divine form that you like very much and say to this form, “You and I, there is no difference. We are one.” And listen to this inner conversation – between the form you have created and your self. Listen to it. You will see He is laughing at it. Finally, you understand. Finally, you have come to this point of knowing that you and I are one. You and all the whole creation are just one…

And finally, see the merging of all in your body – that whatever you have imagined, whatever you have created in the power of the mind is present in you. Your body is just light – pure consciousness of God. You are the Christ consciousness, you are the Krishna consciousness, and you are the super-consciousness. Now, slowly open your eyes…
