What I want to share from my experiences is that love conquers everything. It is my hope that it will inspire the readers to open their hearts to the Divine. If we can try to understand that we all are equally part of the Divine and are here to achieve this greater Truth and to realise our Self - if we make this our goal and do everything with Love…then everything will be lovely and you will always be happy.

When one lets go of everything.....

When you surrender completely to your Master, your Master becomes everything for you. Your Master becomes the mother, He will shower the Love of a mother on you. He becomes the father, He will be disciplined with you. He becomes everything. Then the world dies. He becomes the world. The Master becomes the path. That’s why you will see in ashrams, in monasteries, one lets go of everything. One lets go of family, one lets go of children, one lets go of the husband, wife, one lets go of mothers, fathers, and lives for God. The same in context is everywhere. In the Gita you will see similar, when Krishna explained that: To Realise God, to Realise who you are in Reality, one has to let go of everything. Christ said: I have come not to make peace, but to separate the daughter from the mother. I have come to separate the father from the son. This is so that one doesn’t get attached, so that one detaches and Realises who is the real Father and who is the real Mother. Otherwise, one stays always in this illusion.

When one really lets go of everything and one surrenders, one gets everything! One gets the real thing: why one has come here. One gets Self-Realisation, one gets God-Realisation. One rises in the Divine Love. So, this should be your ultimate goal if you are on a spiritual path: to have Self-Realisation, to Realise God’s Love continuously inside of you.

Surrender to the Guru´s feet!

Surrender to the Guru’s feet! As it is said “When one meets one’s Guru, the world becomes the feet of the master.” And the Guru’s feet are everything. That is why, in the Hindu tradition, we worship Vishnu Padam. Why do we worship the Feet of Maha Vishnu? When we say ‘feet’, it is not the upper part, rather it is the down part. That is why when the Guru places the feet he does not put the upper part. He puts the down part of it, because under the soles of the Feet of the Master is the Vishnu Padam. Beneath the feet is all: They are the Feet of Maha Vishnu Himself. That is why in the Gita it is said: Guru Govinda. Krishna manifests Himself as the Guru and the Guru is Govinda, is Krishna. Service to the Feet of the Master is equal to thousands of pilgrimage places. So, do your service to the Feet of the Master and surrender. Adi Shankaracharya said “I received everything only by surrendering to the Feet of my Master”.

Swami vishwananda in Slowakai

Swami Vishwananda said:" Love is with form and without form. Love resides inside every person. The mind can perceive the love with form but cannot comprehend love without form, the mind thinks in images. The mind want to quickly understand every thing. To comprehend love without form the consciousness is needed. The consciousness have to awake to perceive this love. When you have touched this love inside you you start to become this love. God reveals himself to you and His qualities reveal themselves to you. You start vibrating these qualities.

A beautiful Story about the flute of Krishna

There is a beautiful story about the flute of Krishna. You know Krishna always holds a flute in his hand, but there is a great story behind it. Everyday Krishna would go in the garden and say to all the plants, “I love you”. The plants were very happy and responded back and said “Krishna, we love You, too”. One day Krishna rushed quickly into the garden very alarmed. He went to the bamboo plant and the bamboo plant asked, “Krishna, what´s wrong with you?” Krishna said “I have something to ask you, but it is very difficult”. The bamboo said “Tell me: if I can, I will give it to you”. So Krishna said “I need your life. I need to cut you”. The bamboo thought for a while and then said “You don´t have any other choice. You don’t have any other way?” Krishna said, “No, no other way”. And it said “OK, I surrender to you”. So Krishna cut the bamboo, made holes in it, and each time, while he was doing that, the bamboo was crying with pain, because he was paining the bamboo so much. Krishna made a beautiful flute out of it. And this flute was with Krishna all the time. 24 hours a day, it was with Krishna. Even the Gopis were jealous of the flute. They said, “Look, Krishna is our Lord, but yet we get to spend only some time with him. He wakes up with you, He sleeps with you, all the time you are with him”. So one day they asked the bamboo, “Tell us the secret of it. What secret do you have, that the Lord treasures you so much?” And the bamboo said “The secret is that I´m empty inside. And the Lord does whatever he wants with me, whenever he wants with me and however he wants with me”. So this is complete surrender: where God can do whatever He wants with you, whenever He wants, as He wants. And for that you

don’t need to be scared, you know, you have just to give yourself. And who is yourself in reality? It’s just Him!

Nothing can move you!

Focus on the true joy that you have inside of you. Focus on the Love of God that you have inside of you. Focus on the Divine, which is present inside of you and focus in a way that nothing on the outside can move you. No matter what comes, nothing can move you! Christ said it: Make your faith, build your faith on the stone. Be so strong that no wind can move you, that no wind can destroy this. Become a pillar of this faith. This kind of concentration you should have: when you’re focused, when you sit down for meditation, you don’t hear anything, you don’t think about anything, only the Lord, only Him, nothing else.

Words of Sri Swami Vishwananda...

Often we think that we know God. We can always think that “God is like this and like this and like this”, but deep inside we are wrong with ourselves. Each one has their own perspective of God and each one has their own way to achieve God. Some can just sing the name of God and they will be in bliss and Realise God completely. But for some, they have to really strive, strive very deeply to achieve, to Realise God. So each one has their level. That’s why very often I say to people “Make your own experience about the Love of God.” I can talk about the Love of God. You can read about the Love of God, but it’s each one’s own experience. When you make your own experience, even a small experience, you will feel great joy and great bliss. You will enjoy it. Actually, to lift one’s hands up [when singing to God] means Lord, we are drowning in this illusion; we are drowning in this Maya. We are lifting our hands up to You, so that You pull us out of Maya; so that You pull us out of this illusion and make us Realise ourselves and Realise that we are part of You, that we are Your children, that we are Your Divine Love. So, I would like that all of you lift your hands up and cry to the Lord.

So I will ask you to stand up. Don’t be shy. It’s good. You will see when you dance, when you are moving, you keep your body fit. You are doing dancing yoga, you know, and, at the same time, you are doing nama smarana. You are singing the name of God. God is so addictive. When you start singing and dancing His glory, you will always Love and dance. You will always want to sing His Name and dance continuously. You will not even get tired. You will forget about thirst. You will forget about hunger. You will forget about everything.

This reminds me that two weeks ago I was in Croatia for seven days and every day we sang and danced until morning. This was from late in the evening to the next morning, until four o’clock or five o’clock in the morning. Every day was like this. It was so addictive. It was so beautiful. On the last day of my visit, I was in the place where we were staying and there were about seventy people in the living room, because all the devotees were there. For darshan there had been many more, there were six or seven hundred people. After darshan we came home and we were sitting and singing all the time. We had food and we were singing the Names of Krishna and Jesus, all the Names of God.

Afterwards, I looked at my watch and I said “In the morning I have to go and take my plane, you know; I have to go back to the ashram.” So, I had to stop everything. So I went up and when I went, of course, everybody dispersed and I was on the balcony. I couldn’t sleep, so I was talking with one of the people there. At the same time I looked down and there was one lady who was trying to make herself go to bed. She was like going left and right, you know, but at the same time the song, the bhajan that we had been singing was in her and she was singing like, really, she was drunk on the Divine Names, you know. So I said to this person next to me, I said to him “Look, God’s Love is making everybody crazy in His Love.” So I looked at him and I looked up in the sky – it was getting light, already – and I said “I am sure God is very happy seeing all of his children crazy like that, eh?” And at that moment, the moment I said that, there was a big ball of light, blue light, which appeared. It split into two and went back, again, together and there were flashes everywhere. And it was really amazing, you know. He was giving, in his own way, His approval “Yes, I am happy that all of you are being drunk on this Divine Nectar.” Actually, Christ was Love, you know, and this form of Christ we don’t picture in Christianity anymore. When you look at an icon or look at a statue of Christ, you know, they look so miserable, but Christ was joy. That’s how people follow His message of Love. Once I asked Him whether He was dancing, also. He said “Of course, I was dancing.” In the Jewish tradition, of course, dance is one of the very important things in it and He gave me a vision of Him dancing. You know there is this song, Lai Lai, Lai Lai? I had a vision of He and of His disciples with arms over one another’s shoulders and all of them were dancing in the same way you were dancing. And, of course, you know, this part we don’t see, we don’t express,

but you have noticed it. When you dance, you can’t think about anything.

Whereas when you come from a satsang or when you come from a kirtan, when you have just sung the Names of God, you want to be peaceful. You want to enjoy this Divine Love inside of you. And you will feel more strength when you dance and sing. If I tell you, now, to meditate, you will see that your concentration is much better then when you just sit and meditate. Try it at home. So, it was lovely to be with all of you. I have emptied my heart, which was only about the Love of God, which is also the most important in life.

Sri Swami Vishwananda talks about........

The Love that the devotee has for the Satguru, the Love that the devotee has for the Divine. This Love is one single-minded Love. This Love is a Love where the devotee doesn’t expect anything, apart from the Lord Himself. And, in this Love, nothing can move the bhakta, no matter what comes! When Meerabai was singing for Krishna, people would say “She’s crazy”, but this didn’t change her faith, this didn’t change her Love. She was so concentrated. Her mind was so focused and one-pointed toward the Lord, that nothing could move her. It is said that devotion has another name: one single-pointed mind. When your mind is completely focused on God, you will have Him.

Sri Swami Vishwananda tells us today.....

What I really want to talk about is the Love of God which is present inside you; the gift that God has given to you: this Love which is without any limit; this Love which is without any condition; this Love which is free and without any expectations. We are all bound by the truth that we are children of God. In all religions, wherever you go across the Earth, whatever tradition it may be, they will all tell you that God is Love and that Love is God. We all talk about God, but we don’t know God, we don’t have an image of Him. Of course, there are different aspects of the Divinity. But one thing that we can do is to feel God and that’s how we can know that He is with us all the time, we can feel Him continuously and enjoy Him at every moment. We have to become part of Him. We have to realise this unity. Firstly, the unity starts with our mind uniting with our heart, then with our body. When the body, mind and soul are united together, you will experience the Divine without any limitation. Actually, this is the main aim of man: to realise his oneness with the Divine.

Sri Swami Vishwananda talks about........

You can live in this world but, at the same time, not be a part of this world. Then you can have happiness. You will discover it, you will enjoy it, you will know about it.For that, there are many ways. There’s prayer, which helps to calmthe mind. There’s bhajan singing, which will give you bliss; you can lose yourself in it, you develop bhakti inside you. But still, this is not fulfilment. It’s through meditation that you can really come to the power of complete fulfilment. When the prayer, when this bhajan singing makes you lose its aspect of witness to the outside, when you lose yourself and forget about everything, forget even about you being the body, you see that you have become One with God.

Radharani shows us how to love unconditionally....

This pure devotion, which Radha had for Krishna, even though She was separated from Krishna, even though She was separated from the Oneness – it was just to teach us what it is to surrender. Actually,Radha represents all of us: the creation, the manifestation. She symbolizes the Love, the example. She symbolizes the Bhav, the complete surrender to the Will of God. It’s not about her own will, but the Will of God, the Will of Krishna. That’s why it is said that She is the only true Devotee and we all have to become like Her.The manifestation of the Lord Himself into Radharani is to show us how to love unconditionally, how to have such faith that even a storm will not uproot you.Nowadays we talk about faith. But the moment something happens and doesn’t turn out the way people want, what happens? They are uprooted already. Faith is like this: you have to become like a huge tree. When a storm comes, the branches will blow, but the roots are so anchored into the earth, the tree does not come out. That’show faith has to be. That is what Radharani teaches to us. In Her Life there were not only joyful times, but She transcended the joy and the pain.We all want bliss, don’t we? We all want to attain the Divine, but yet we hang onto things. We want to love and we want to do God’s will, but in our mind we always say “Yes, I want to do God’s will, but I want to always be happy”, because in our minds, we think that happiness is bliss. But the transcendental happiness that is real bliss is beyond the happiness like when you say with a big smile “I am happy”, because when one is in bliss, one doesn’t know happiness or sadness. It is difficult to understand it with the mind, because your brain can only understand whether you are happy or sad, or you are happy-sad, but transcending these two is Ananda. And that’s what our soul is longing for. There is one bhajan that I always sing, that says “For love, one can do anything.” Isn’t it like this? But Love is sacrifice, you know, isn’t it? Are you ready to sacrifice completely for that? How many of you are ready to sacrifice everything, completely? So, that’s what faith is:complete surrender. If you are completely surrendered to the Will of God and you remember the Divine–wherever you are, whatever you do, even in the smallest things–then you will transcend.

Words of Sri Swami Vishwananda......

Love transcends all the barriers that we put up, even the mind can't comprehend Love, so it transcends all.
